"What is the best eBay dropshipping software?" is the wrong question to ask first, and every honest answer starts with that. The right first question is what do you need it to do, and what are you prepared to pay for it every month? A seller listing a few dozen items from one UK supplier and a seller running thousands of products across several marketplaces need genuinely different things, and the cheapest or best-known tool for one is the wrong one for the other.
I run Sellhelm, so I am one of the tools in this comparison and you should read everything below with that in mind. To keep it fair, this page uses only what each company publishes on its own pricing page, shows the prices in the currency each company prints them in (nothing is converted), compares every tool on the same basis, and prints the things the subscription tools do better than we do right next to the table. The figures were read off each company's page on 9 October 2026, and every tool name links to the page they came from, so you can check them yourself. Prices change, so please do.
The short version
- Most tools charge a monthly fee that rises with your listings. The cheapest plan that covers a 500-listing shop is $39.90, £39, $49.99, $49 and €39.99 a month on the pages we read (one price per tool, none converted), so three years of any of them is a four-figure sum.
- Sellhelm is a one-off price, from £79.99 for one Windows PC, with no listing limit and no monthly bill. The trade-off is that it only does eBay, and runs on your PC, not in the cloud.
- 3 of the 5 sell on more than eBay. If you need Shopify or other marketplaces, a multi-channel subscription tool is the right answer, not us.
- Check what the headline price covers. Listing limits, automatic ordering add-ons, per-order fees and annual-only discounts all change the real cost.
1. What eBay dropshipping software actually does
Strip away the marketing and the tools do five jobs. Whichever you pick, check it covers the ones you need.
- Find products and suppliers. Research tools look for items that sell and show what they cost at a supplier.
- Price them after fees. The price you list has to leave a profit once eBay's final value fee, per-order fee, regulatory fee and VAT come off. See every eBay UK fee, with worked examples.
- Create the listings. Title, description, photos, category and item specifics, ideally with a design that looks like your shop.
- Keep stock and prices in step with the supplier. This is the job that stops you selling what you cannot get. See how stock and price sync works.
- Handle orders. Show what to buy, where to send it, and track it through to delivery, with some tools buying automatically.
Our own guide to what good eBay dropshipping software must do goes through each in detail, with the traps that catch new sellers.
2. The three ways these tools charge
- A monthly subscription that rises with your listings. You pay for a plan with a cap on listings (or products, or variations; each tool counts differently). As the shop grows you move up a plan.
- Add-ons and per-order fees. Automatic ordering is often a separate add-on, sometimes with its own fee on each order or caps on how many orders it will place.
- A one-off licence. You pay once and keep it. That is how Sellhelm works, and it is why our three-year cost post exists: the difference only shows when you add the months up.
3. The prices, on one honest basis
To compare like with like, the table prices each tool's cheapest published plan that covers a shop with 500 active listings. Prices are in the currency each company prints, and nothing is converted. Annual billing is cheaper at 3 of the 5 (not Easync or Droopify, which are monthly only). The three-year column is simply 36 months of the monthly price, with no annual discount applied.
| Tool | Plan for a 500-listing shop (listing limit) | Monthly price | Three years of that plan | Sells beyond eBay |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AutoDS | Starter (up to 500) | $39.90 a month | $1,436 | Yes |
| Hustle Got Real | Pro (up to 500) | £39 a month | £1,404 | Yes |
| Easync | Basic (up to 2,000) | $49.99 a month | $1,800 | Yes |
| Yaballe | Growth (up to 500) | $49 a month | $1,764 | Not named on the page |
| Droopify | Advanced 800 (up to 800) | €39.99 a month | €1,440 | Not named on the page |
| Sellhelm | One licence, no listing limit | Nothing monthly | £79.99 once for one PC (any number of eBay accounts) | No: eBay only today |
Two things to check on any tool before you trust a headline price. First, how the limit is counted: listings, products held and product variations are different numbers, and a multi-variation listing can use up many of them. Second, what is not included: automatic ordering, extra eBay accounts and extra users are charged separately on several of these tools. The notes against each company on our pricing page list the extras we found on their own pages.
One point that answers a search we see often: DSM Tool's own pricing page now redirects to AutoDS, which is why they appear as one company here (as of 9 October 2026).
4. What the subscription tools do that Sellhelm does not
A comparison that only flatters its author is worthless, so here are the genuine limits, without softening:
- They keep working when your computer is off. Sellhelm checks your suppliers and eBay while its panel is running on your PC, so the PC has to be switched on and Sellhelm open (it can sit in the background).
- They run in a browser, on any machine. Sellhelm is a Windows 10 and 11 program. No Mac, no phone, no tablet.
- 3 of the 5 sell on more than eBay. AutoDS, Hustle Got Real and Easync also list to Shopify and other marketplaces. Yaballe and Droopify do not name another marketplace on the pages we read, the same as Sellhelm. Other marketplaces for Sellhelm are being looked at, but nothing is promised and nothing has a date.
If any of those is a deal-breaker for you, choose a subscription tool and use our comparison posts to pick between them. If none is, a one-off price removes a bill that otherwise never stops.
5. How to choose: seven questions
- Where will you sell? eBay only, or eBay plus other channels? This is the single biggest filter.
- How many live listings in a year? Price the plan for that number, not for today.
- Do you need it to work with the computer off? A cloud tool does; a program on your PC needs the PC on.
- Which suppliers do you use? A tool is only as good as its ability to read the shops you buy from. Test your own supplier links in a free trial or demo; ours has a free link checker and a list of the shops it reads.
- Do you want automatic ordering? If so, check the add-on price, the order caps and the supplier rules before you rely on it.
- What happens if you stop paying? With a subscription, your listings' stock and price checks stop. See what happens when you stop paying.
- What is the refund policy? Some annual plans are non-refundable. Ours is a 14-day money-back guarantee.
Our fuller guide, how to actually choose an eBay dropshipping tool, expands each of these.
6. One-to-one comparisons
If you are already looking at a specific tool, these go through it in detail, with the trade-offs on both sides:
- Sellhelm vs AutoDS
- Sellhelm vs Hustle Got Real
- Sellhelm vs Easync
- The real cost of every tool in 2026, compared
- Sellhelm vs a spreadsheet
7. Which model suits which seller
Rather than naming a winner, here is how the choice usually falls out once you answer the questions above.
- You sell on eBay only, from a handful of suppliers, and want to know your numbers. A tool built around pricing after fees and watching your suppliers does the job, and a one-off price removes the cost that otherwise grows with every listing. That is the case Sellhelm is built for.
- You sell on several marketplaces, or plan to. You need a multi-channel tool, and the subscription is the price of that. Compare the multi-channel tools in the table on features and the way each counts listings.
- You want everything to run while your computer is off, or to manage the shop from a phone. A cloud tool is the only way to get that. Be honest about whether you really need it; many sellers check their shop at set times anyway.
- You are just testing the water with a few products. You may not need software yet. A spreadsheet and our free fee calculator will take you a long way, and our post on two spreadsheets before you list anything shows what to track.
- You run a large catalogue. Check each tool's cap and how it is counted at your size, because that is where the monthly price climbs fastest, and where a licence with no listing limit makes the biggest difference.
The common thread is that the right tool is the one that fits where and how you sell, not the one at the top of a list. Anyone who names a single winner for every seller is selling something.
8. Try before you pay
Whatever you choose, test it on your own products before committing. Sellhelm has a free live demo that runs in your browser on a made-up shop, so you can click every page, and a 14-day money-back guarantee if you buy and it is not for you. Run the same test on any tool you are considering: price three real products, import one supplier link, and see whether the numbers it shows match your own sums. That ten-minute test tells you more than any ranking.
Questions people ask
What is the best eBay dropshipping software in the UK?
It depends on where you sell and how you want to pay. If you sell on several marketplaces or need a tool that works with your computer off, a subscription cloud tool is the right choice. If you sell on eBay only and want a one-off price with no listing limit, Sellhelm is built for that. This page compares them on prices read from each company's own pricing page.
How much does eBay dropshipping software cost?
On the pricing pages we read on 9 October 2026, the cheapest plan covering a 500-listing shop costs $39.90, £39, $49.99, $49 and €39.99 a month depending on the tool (each in its own currency), with add-ons such as automatic ordering extra. Sellhelm is a one-off £79.99 for one PC with no listing limit.
Are AutoDS and DSM Tool the same company?
DSM Tool's pricing page now redirects to AutoDS, so on our reading of 9 October 2026 they are one company.
Does Sellhelm sell on Shopify or Amazon?
No. Sellhelm does eBay (UK and US) today. Other marketplaces are being looked at, but nothing is promised and nothing has a date. If you need Shopify or other marketplaces now, choose a multi-channel subscription tool.
Do I need software to dropship on eBay?
No, but pricing after eBay's fees, keeping stock and prices in step with your supplier and handling orders by hand take a lot of time as a shop grows, and mistakes there (selling below cost, selling what a supplier no longer has) are expensive. That is the work these tools do.
